If they became ill they went right back to the doctor but this time did not pay him for his services. Apparently, the doctor’’s responsibility was to prevent illness from occurring in the first place. The #1 health complaint in North America is…you guessed it:STRESS. And women suffer from stress & anxiety twice as much as men. This is no surprise, as women juggle thedemands of the workplace along with running a household. Who is responsible for putting a meal on the table and ensuring that the kids have clean clothes for the next day? You can bet it’’s usually Mommy.
Here are some familiar by-products of stress & anxiety:
mild depression / perpetually feeling down / fatigue / irritability
What’’s the difference between Stress and Anxiety? Stress is caused by an existing factor or stressor. Anxiety is stress that continues after the stressor is gone. Example: A person may have experienced a stressful situation in a public place, perhaps a startling dose of verbal abuse. If she is unable to control the harmful build-up of stress it can snowball into a full-blown anxiety, perhaps rendering her homebound.Stress is here to stay. It’’s part of everyday life. Nevertheless, you still have a choice. How will you react to the stressful situation?

1.)Exercise (or simply movement) is a great stress buster, along with deep breathing. Motion Creates Emotion.
2.)Eating & sleeping properly is the foundation of stress management. But you knew that already, right? : )
3.)Nothing dispels stress more than doing a small act of random kindness to someone else. An uplifting word, or simply a genuine smile goes a long way as a therapeutic tool. It’’s difficult to determine who benefits more!
